Pe parcursul săptămânii 22 – 28 iulie, Direcţia Rutieră a Poliţiei Române va coordona, la nivel naţional, o nouă acţiune pentru prevenirea accidentelor rutiere produse, în special, din cauza nerespectării normelor rutiere de conducătorii autovehiculelor de transport public de persoane mai mare de 8+1 locuri și de transport de marfă cu masa totală maximă autorizată mai mare de 3,5 tone.

Polițiștii vor avea în vedere respectarea, de către șoferii profesioniști, a vitezei legale, utilizarea centurilor de siguranță sau a dispozitivelor de retenție, funcționarea corespunzătoare a aparatului tahograf, respectarea perioadelor de conducere ori de odihnă, documentele obligatorii ale conducătorilor auto, ale vehiculului ori cele ale operatorilor de transport.
Acțiunea se desfășoară conform Planului de operaţiuni al Organizaţiei Poliţiilor Rutiere din Europa (TISPOL).
